Hey there! I go by the name Bubblegum, a spirited 2-year-old/20 pound Male Doodle embracing life on three legs with gusto. No obstacles hold me back!
Despite the whirlwind of changes in 2024, I remain the sweetest and happiest pup around. Quick to bond with my humans, I prefer keeping a watchful eye on them at all times. While I adore cuddling up in their laps, I'm content with a cozy spot beside them. New men make me a tad wary, but with a little reassurance, we become fast friends forever!
Mornings find me patiently waiting for my foster mom to wake, even if it means lounging next to her until 8AM on weekends. Once up, I eagerly anticipate our walks, though I may get a tad antsy during the wait. After our stroll, I'm ready to relax with my foster fur brother until lunch, with occasional food breaks throughout the day. When home alone, I prefer exploring but settle into a crate begrudgingly.
Car rides are a breeze for me, and I relish romping in the backyard, chasing squirrels, and shadowing my foster fur sibling. While I'm curious about his activities, I'm not quite ready for playtime yet. With time and practice, I'm sure to become a fetching expert despite my three-legged status, requiring no special attention or accommodations.
In terms of training, I've quickly adapted to my new name and grasped commands like "sit" and "go lay down," though my stubborn streak emerges now and then. Consistency remains key as I continue to learn and grow.
