Bear‘s Story

Meet Bear! He is an 18-month-old Labradoodle who is 55-pounds of goofy fluffy greatness! He is very comfortable with other people and pets. He is a VERY happy boy and is just LOVING life! He enjoys car rides and anywhere in public you would want to take him including restaurant patios, dog parks, Home Depot and Pet stores. Bear…or BEAR BEAR as his foster mom calls him….LOVES to play with his foster brothers. He does have a little obsession with smaller pets and tiny humans. ?This big guy doesn’t have a mean bone in his body but he doesn’t quite understand how big he is!!! He just can’t resist the urge to play! He LOVES to jump up high to give you kisses when you get home but is working on controlling that! He loves to play fetch and he will chase balls as long as you are willing to throw them. His favorite playmate is his fur foster brother who is the same age and size as he is. They are both still learning boundaries and when to tone down playtime! He would do well in a home that has a playmate who is as energetic as he is. His two favorite things to do are play tug of war and wrestle with his foster brother……ALL DAY LONG!!
Bear is very attached to his foster mama! ? He prefers females but loves his foster dad just the same…..well….as long as mama is within his sight! He sleeps great at night….again, as long as he is right next to his foster mama in her bed with his head on her belly or legs.?He does not care for the crate but is completely potty trained so no need for it anyway! He is perfect on a leash as long as it’s a harness because collars tend to make him cough. He prefers to use the doggy door to go potty as needed outside and go run around in the back yard with his foster brother. He will let you know when he needs to potty if the doggy door is not available.

Bear’s ideal new home would have a dog that loves to play and wrestle! A medium to large-sized dog is best just because he doesn’t fully understand his size. He would do well with a large yard and humans that will play with him often. He does not shed and is willing and ready take a shower when asked to do so..and sometimes even when he’s not asked to do so...because He LOVES water! He actually loves to be brushed after so he stays tangle free!

Bear is about as perfect of a dog as you will find and will bring so much joy to his new family!
