Hi! I’m Axel. I am an energetic 70lb, 1-yr-old Male Goldendoodle. I have a beautiful cream-colored coat with a pretty little splash of apricot.

I am a very sweet boy and love lots and lots of attention. My favorite things to do are snuggle, wrestle with my fur foster siblings, play fetch with a tennis ball, and take long walks. I am great in the car and have done pretty well on trips to Lowes and soccer games!

I get up at 5:30a, but on weekends I sleep in. First kisses, then potty, then it’s playtime. We eat breakfast together as soon as we go inside. I use the dog door to go outside while my foster parents are at work and have never had an accident in the house. I eat dinner at 6pm then take a walk around the neighborhood as soon as it’s cool enough. I go to bed in my kennel around 10, and sleep quietly until morning.

I only just turned 1, so I am still working on some things. I still like to chew on things so if you leave shoes laying around I will think they are for me. I am a Velcro dog, and have not learned to respect other people’s personal space. I am still using my mouth to explore my surroundings and sometimes want to put people’s hands in my mouth. I can also be kind of goofy when it comes to my leash. I love to go on walks, and once we are out the door I do really well, but I get so excited before we leave that It makes it hard for my people to put my harness on. I do like to sleep in my kennel but I worry about being stuck in one during the day. I am working on becoming a well-behaved boy but I will require a patient family who is willing to teach me.
