"Though she be but little, she is fierce"

I'm a 9 pound, twelve-week-old, female Berna-doodle. I'm the smallest puppy in my litter, but I don't let that keep me down. I love to run with the big dogs, and I'm always working on my friendships with my foster siblings including my 45 pound brother doodle, my 65 pound sister doodle, and my bother the cat. Yes, I LOVE the cat.

My foster mom and dad love to cuddle with me. I'm so small, I can be held like a baby as long as you're willing to rub my belly. However, I don't really like being carried around. I'd rather walk on my own, and if I think you're going to pick me up, I'm really good and running under the furniture, so you can't catch me. I love to play with my litter mate, Hercules. He's almost twice my size, but he knows I'm tough. We love to wrestle and play with toys together.

We keep a very regular schedule at my foster home. We get up early around 6:00 AM and go out to pee before coming in to eat breakfast. I eat in a crate by myself because my brother eats much faster than me. But, I'm a growing girl, so I eat everything on my plate. Then we go out to use the bathroom in the yard. I'm potty training, so I go outside every hour or two. Sometimes, I still have accidents in the house, but often its on a well placed puppy pad. Then I play for a while until I can't run any more and take a morning nap in my foster dad's office. Then at lunch, we start all over again, we pee, eat, go back outside, play and then take another nap. Finally for dinner, we repeat the process, but then when we go outside, everyone goes out, and we all play together. My foster parents started giving me a "second dinner" at 7:30 PM when we get an extra little meal. My foster parents are using this extra late snack to help me sleep through the night because I was waking up to go outside between 2-3:00 AM with my brother. So far, it's working, and though I get up early, I'm sleeping all night.

I'm still very young, so I'm working on all my manners. I sit while my foster dad puts food in my bowl, and I go into the crate with a "kennel" command for my food and at bedtime, so I've started learning some basics. I've started potty training, and I do prefer to go outside if you take me out often. I'm not fond of the leash yet, but strategic treats make the experience better. Also, I'm a hungry puppy, so if you leave any food out for other pets, I will eat it.
