I'm Abilene! I'm a 5-month-old, 40lb bundle of all-boy, Bernadoodle! I currently don't shed (this could change as I mature) and I'm ready to take on the world.

I love to learn and make new friends. I'm a curious pup, adventure is my middle name! I'm clever and get myself into a lot of mischief if bored. My specialties include opening doors and singing. I LOVE to sing along to the radio! I feel I sing quite nicely, and I love classical music. I'm learning my boundaries and need a firm, confident teacher to remind me when I'm pushing them too far. I love to play with other dogs but can get intimidated, so I prefer furry friends my size.

My schedule is flexible. I'm kennel trained, potty trained, and can use the doggy door. I'm good at letting myself out when I need to go. I'm still a puppy, so if I can't get out right away, I might have an accident. I eat in the morning and again mid-afternoon so I can finish my potty business in time for bedtime. At night, I feel safest in my kennel but occasionally, I will let myself out and snuggle in bed with my human.

I adore children of all shapes and sizes. I've worked hard on my manners, and am learning not to jump. I've met a few cats and while a bit unsure, I didn't chase them. I love adventure and playtime is my middle name, but I wear out by the afternoon and need a good nap. I'm very good at matching my energy level to those around me most of the time.

I'm also still learning how to use my leash and prefer a harness that goes around the front of my chest. It makes me feel safer and helps me to understand what is being asked of me. I'm still working on my commands. I'm now confident enough to really dig in and learn!

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Dog sibling preferred
- No children under age 2
- Patience to train
- Secure fencing and gates
- Know what door dashing is and have a preventative plan
