Hello! 👋 I’m Turks, a 1-year-old male mini poodle mix, and I weigh a perfect 14 pounds. My claim to fame? I’ve got a unique “Batman” mask on my face, making me one-of-a-kind! And guess what? I’ve got a non-shedding coat, so I’ll keep your clothes fur-free!

I’m a curious little guy who loves exploring new things. Whether it’s following my foster mom and dad around the house or checking out new trails on the weekend, I’m always ready for an adventure! I do feel a bit sad when they’re not around, but who can blame me? I love my people! Playing with other dogs is super fun too, though my foster mom says I can get a bit too excited and come on a little strong. I’m working on that!

Cuddling is one of my favorite pastimes—I’m happiest snuggled up with my foster parents after a day full of play and exploring.

Here’s a peek into my day: I wake up with my foster mom around 7 a.m. for breakfast in my crate, then it’s playtime with my foster brother before the humans head to work. Throughout the day, I get plenty of potty breaks, training sessions, and playtime. Dinner is at 6 p.m., followed by a nice 30-40 minute walk around the neighborhood at 7:30 p.m. I wind down with some crate time and a final potty break before heading to bed around 10:30 p.m. Weekends are a blast because we hit easy trails to explore new smells and sights!

I do have a little quirk—I tend to mark my territory when I’m in a new environment. But don’t worry, once I settle in, I can hold it for about four to five hours like a champ. I do get anxious when my foster parents leave, and I might whine or cry when they’re gone, so I’ll need a bit more training to help me feel safe when they’re away.
