Hi there! I'm Myrtle, a four-year-old female poodle mix with a ladylike figure that tips the scales at a petite 40 pounds. My life has been quite the adventure, but through it all, I've been told I'm the definition of a well-behaved pup! My foster mom calls me her "perfect gem," and I wear that title with pride, always striving to be my very best self.

I recently had a litter of adorable puppies known as the beach babies, and while they’re off on their own adventures, I’m ready to find my forever home where I can shine just as brightly as they do!

You might be wondering what makes me so special—well, let me tell you! I’m a dog of many talents. I can sit, shake, and even use the doggie door like a pro. I’ve been told I’m super trustworthy and don’t have any bad habits, which I think is pretty cool! Plus, I’m a fast learner, so if there’s something new you’d like to teach me, I’m all ears.

I have a soft spot for getting groomed and bathed—I just love feeling fancy! My days are filled with sunbathing, playing with my furry siblings, and following my foster mom around like her little shadow. I’m happiest when I’m by her side, soaking up all the love and attention I can get.

My routine is simple yet satisfying. I start my day at 7 am with a potty break followed by a delicious breakfast. After that, it’s time for some serious sunbathing and playtime with my friends. Afternoons are for napping and making sure my foster mom has my company as she moves from room to room. By the evening, the whole family is home, which means even more love and cuddles for me! Dinner is at 7 pm, and then I start to unwind for bedtime, where I love sleeping close to my foster mom.

I’m still working on getting comfortable with car rides. It’s not that I dislike them, but I’m not exactly jumping for joy about them either. With a little patience and practice, I know I’ll get the hang of it!
