Messi‘s Story

Hi there! My name is Messi, and I’m a 6-year-old male Schnauzer-Doodle weighing in at a handsome 37 pounds. Let me tell you a little bit about myself!

I'm a very calm and gentle dog, and I absolutely adore making new friends—both human and canine. I’m friendly, affectionate, and love to play with other dogs. Because I’m an adult, I’m already trained and well-behaved. Sometimes I can be a bit timid because humans weren’t very nice to me in the past, but I’m working on trusting again. My foster mom says I’m very easy to take care of, though I do struggle a bit with slippery hardwood floors.

My daily routine is pretty flexible, but I usually wake up around 7:30 AM for breakfast and a walk. I love being outside, visiting the dog park, and playing fetch with a tennis ball. While I don’t play with dog toys often, I’m always up for some fun and games! Despite my playful nature, I also enjoy spending most of the day napping. When my foster mom isn’t home, I’m perfectly content to relax in my crate.

I know basic commands and I’m very polite—I avoid going on furniture. My foster mom says I’m the easiest, most well-behaved dog she’s ever met. I do have a bit of a sensitive stomach, so I might need some dietary supplements to keep me feeling my best.
