Hi! My name is Scout! I’m a 11-month-old male Goldendoodle. I weigh 46lbs and when I see my humans I’m full of excitement! I have a straighter coat, but that's perfect because I don't shed!

My foster parents say my best traits are my big smile and my happy wagging tail. I enjoy playing outside with my foster brother and could keep playing for hours. When I am all worn out from my playtimes I enjoy cuddling next to my foster mom or getting belly scratches. I'm content to be in my crate when my humans are gone, but I prefer to roam free whenever I can! I love all humans and dogs - I'm a social butterfly!

Each morning I’m up around 7am and I go right outside to potty. I eat my breakfast next, but in my crate before having my morning play with my fur foster brother. After playtime, I like to nap before playing some more in the afternoon and going on an walk. I eat dinner around 6pm before settling in to watch tv with my foster’s for the night. I go to bed around 9pm and sleep in my crate like a good boy.

I’m still working on potty training, but I almost always go to the door when I have to go. I do well as long as I have a schedule. I do counter-surf sometimes so I need to be reminded to now put my paws up - I respond quickly to a firm no. I'm 100% crate trained and listen well when told do to a basic command. I've only been around older kiddos, and although I am sweet I can be unaware of my surroundings and barrel my way through to get to where I am going. For this reason, I'd do best in a home with no tiny humans. I'm still learning how to use a leash - but I don't pull. I'm also crate trained, but do fine without one too!

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Dog sibling preferred, he/she must be young and playful - I like to be entertained
- No children under age 6
- Active family, I have a high energy level and will need lots of walks
- Fenced yard
